So today on the Strong Wind Podcast, we're going to talk about a topic with Cindy Rollins that we've actually, Cindy, had a hard time finding people to talk to us about, which I don't know why, but maybe we'll discover why today. But it's the topic of adult children and how to be in relationship with them. Why is it so hard? Is it hard?

And I think it's something that we all can relate to because even if we don't have kids, if we're adults, we have parents or we did have parents.

So it's just a thing that we all go through, whether we're the kid or the parent, but you have nine adult children and you've always been honest about struggles and triumphs and all the things.

I think what happens is I think for one reason parents won't talk about it and moms won't talk about it is that they're slightly demoralized by

parenting. That's my new thing. I always say parenting is demoralizing. That is not what

anybody wants to hear, but it isn't that it's just a big failure. It's just that we come to it

with just the most idealistic dreams and plans for our children,
