contribution. But today we're reading Psalm 20, answering the question, will God fulfill all of my

plans? For me, whenever I think about that question, it's regarding our heart's desire or maybe our plans for our lives.

And I think about the year 2020.

Throughout most of 2020, I thought my life was going pretty well, according to plan actually.

In fact, I thought I was maybe even escaping the disaster of 2020 that most people faced.

I graduated from the Watermark Institute. I got a full-time

job at Watermark, and I loved it. I was getting more opportunities to use my teaching gifts in the church.

I got to go on a trip to Hawaii with some friends and family. I was awarded a free trip to Israel,

and I moved into a new town home with some girls from college. Plus, I started dating a long-time

friend and thought certainly I would be engaged by the end of the year. 20-20 really couldn't have

gone better for me, or so I thought. But then one day, when I thought an engagement ring was just

around the corner, to my surprise, that relationship ended, and everything fell apart.

Just when I thought I'd make it out of 2020 unscathed toward the end of November, it all came

crashing down. And despite countless prayers asking God to change my circumstances to realign my

life with what I thought was the original plan, he didn't. So when we ask the question, will God fulfill all of my plans,

I think it's safe to say that most of us know he probably won't,
