So we imagine she's about 20 or so when she becomes Consort to Edgar the Peaceful.

She is the daughter of a chap called Ordgar, who is a Thane from the West Country.

Is that good? thing? Yeah so a

thing is sort of one step down from an old man and her mother is also someone that

must have existed. Well that's conjecture Graham. Well it's true I am assuming

there. Now we don't have a contemporary image for Elthrith but of course we are asking you to send in your

hashtag consort cards, do your own version of the Heritage Limited playing

cards and at the end of the series we'll have our own pack. We've had some

lovely ones coming in some really beautiful ones.

Nevertheless she is perhaps the first one we're getting a bit of a sense of not specifics

but she is famed in quite a few sources for being beautiful.

So no description survives, but she has a couple of husbands,

and both are said to be falling in love at first sight.

We can assume she is a luka.
