Welcome back to the Strong Women podcast. Today on the podcast, our guest is Ashley Hales. And Ashley is the author of a book that Sarah and I both read and we loved it. And one of the reasons we loved it is that it challenged us to think differently about life and time and rest and all the things that just are a part of our everyday life.

though, but by the time I arrived, they were part of a church and committed churchgoers, and

1:43.3

really, like, their own faith was really growing

1:45.8

by leaps and bounds. So I feel like though I had a probably really typical kind of evangelical

childhood that definitely my parents started something new for their family. My parents came to

1:57.3

faith later in life and then were just like 180. So that's all I ever knew was just

really faithful, but they were first generation, basically. So how did you end up coming to

2:09.9

Faith Ashley? Because we know you grew up in a Christian home, which is great, but that does not
