Summary

In Job 19, Job is responding to the second round of bad advice from Bildad, but he says a very powerful phrase, “I know my Redeemer lives.” Today, Hannah Staubs is joined by fellow Watermark Institute Student, Cassidy Porter. Cassidy shares not only how she has walked through personal suffering, but how vulnerably coming to the Lord and trusting his constant character has seen her through.

 Additional Scripture in the Podcast:
Isaiah 40:8, “The grass withers and the flower fades, but the word of the Lord stands forever.”

Everyone knows. Everyone knows. Here's the fun part about the Institute. When you come to the

Institute, you've heard people from the Institute all week. You learn about the Bible,

0:45.8

which is amazing. And you get experience in ministry, which is awesome. But sometimes you make

0:51.7

dear and best friends. And that's what we got to do. Oh, yeah. It's literally the best, one of the best gifts I've gotten from the Institute. So, so fun. Well, I guess we should, maybe we'll jump in, I guess. I guess we have to. And also, Cassidy, you're not new to a podcast. I'm not. I'm not. Can you tell us about that? I've dabbled before. She's dabbled before. I, a couple years ago,

1:11.4

started a podcast with one of my best friends because we were like, we love to talk. Sure.

1:16.9

And we think that it would just be a fun hobby to have. So I learned how to do a podcast.

1:25.2

Yeah, that's like, I feel like that's a fun, a fun casual flex at a party.

1:29.3

Sure.

1:29.5

I can run a podcast, which I now can say now that I've done the Institute.

1:32.5

Yeah.

1:33.2

There you go.

1:33.8

Cass, can you tell us a little bit?

1:35.1

Tell us about your walk with Jesus, which, again, it's so fun to hear my friend's

1:38.2

stories afresh, but how did you come to know Jesus?

1:40.9

How are you at walking with him today, and where do you serve in the institute?
