Today we're jumping into Job chapter 17, and I'm in the podcast studio with a fellow institutor,

Olivia, I'm so pumped. You're in the podcast studio. Obviously, you're in the institute.

I'm in the institute. There's this bond. We move to Dallas. We're learning the Bible. And now we're

in the studio. Now we're in the studio. You can't make this up. You can't.

So, Olivia, can you tell me a little bit about how you came to know the Lord and where you're at today and where you serve in the Institute? Yeah. So I grew up in Litter Rock, Arkansas,

went to private Christian school, heart of the Bible Belt. Everyone went to church. My

friend's parents worked at the church. That was just what we did.

It was baptized in seventh grade, and that's the first time I remember having a stirring for really anything real for God.

But ultimately, when I saw the rest of middle school and high school was that I was just ruled by my feelings.

Like, whatever felt good is what I did. And so I never really opened my Bible, like on a

personal level, obviously went to Christian school, so knew the answers, knew a lot about God,

but just didn't feel a lot for God. Or when I did, it was very the highs and the lows. And so

I would just say my life was marked by a lot of apathy, pride, hidden sin, and ultimately just

selfish. Like everything I did was driven by my

emotions and what I wanted. But I went to college at Baylor University, sick and bears.

Sick them bears. But I just got there and was really lonely for the first time of my life.

Like everything I knew about myself being the loud, fun person just wasn't true anymore.
