Summary

This story follows Ivy's quest to get a kitten. After her parents initially refuse, Ivy starts a cat-sitting business to prove her responsibility. She finds a stray kitten, names it Lily, and convinces her parents to let her keep it temporarily. Ivy bonds with Lily, but later discovers Lily has owners. In a surprising turn of events, Lily's owner offers to let Ivy keep the kitten, and Ivy's parents agree, making Lily a permanent part of their family.
