involved. Usually I like camping, except for the time when something big and scary was walking

around outside my tent. Was it a bear or bigfoot? I'll never know. Maya and Logan are dying to

camp out in the backyard, but they're going to need a new tent.

And that's where the trouble starts.

It's R. L. Stein Story Club, and this story is called Mystery of the Backyard Tent.

But mom, everyone is sleeping out. It's like the trendy thing to do this summer. Yeah! Plus, I'm old enough to camp out.

We already have sleeping bags. all we need is a tent

tents are expensive couldn't you just sleep under the stars but then we won't have

any protection from bears Logan we're sleeping in the backyard there are no bears in

town it's cool I can bring my plastic baseball bat and take night watch. I'm all about night watch.

You asked for rollerblades? I got your rollerblades. And now they're collecting dust in the garage. Then I got you a basketball hoop. That thing hasn't seen a basketball in three weeks.
