so hopefully he'll be back next week.

Pastor, last time we left off talking about the silence between Malachi and the New Testament

where God stopped talking.

We talked a little bit about how God said, I'll be with you, Emmanuel, at the beginning

of the Gospels of Matthew, and then

Jesus' last word saying, I'll be with you. So today I'm anticipating that we're starting

with Matthew 1-1, the genealogy. Yes. And no. Yes, and no. Yeah. We're getting

close to the genealogy. I'll say we're probably a few episodes away. But again, you have to understand all these things before you kind of dive in to really understand the man Jesus. And the purpose of this is to know Jesus better because the more you know about Jesus, the more you love him. This is the principle. And the more you love him, the more you obey him. And the more you love him, this is the, this is the principle. And the more you love him, the more you obey him.

And the more you obey him, the more he reveals more of himself to you.

So you know more about him, so you can obey more of him and love him more.

So that's kind of the principle here.

Now, we talked about last week about how after 400 years of silence, after 680 plus years of the departure

of the glory of God and the presence of God

and the Ark of God in Ezekiel,

if you remember in Jeremiah,

we have a voice of one crying in the wilderness

as promised by Isaiah and is John the Baptist. Now the first time God
