Summary

This episode is quite different from our usual Pints With Jack episodes. Rather than interviewing a scholar or discussing a chapter of Lewis' work with Matt, I'm going to be reading an article I wrote which gives a rough outline of Lewis' life.

You don't know Jack.

0:10.4

Hey everyone, it's David here.

0:12.8

Today's episode is going to be rather unusual.

0:16.0

Because you see, over the last couple of weeks, I've been a guest on a couple of different podcasts.

I was on the Council of Trent with Trent Horn, and I was also on the classical

0:24.2

theism podcast with John DeRosa.

0:26.9

reading those articles. So this can provide a really great introductory episode to anybody

1:26.5

and almost next to nothing about the man

1:28.5

himself. Therefore, I would like to introduce you more fully to the man behind the line, and the author

1:34.8

behind the works which have deeply shaped modern Christianity and apologetics. He wasn't English.

1:43.1

Often I've found people assume that C.S. Lewis was English, particularly if they've listened to
