Hours and hours, yes, just a few hours. So it's another drummer this week.

It is another trouble, but this is not another drummer this is an absolute

mould making and breaking drummer yeah I mean a musical drummer this guy is know, he's, sort of his percussive quality is, you know, the musical sort of percussion

that he's created over the years has has been groundbreaking.

Yeah.

With the likes of yes.

I mean for me, he was the yes in their pomp.

You know, when he left yes, and they did tales from topographic oceans I kind of gave up you know and

obviously you know the commercial stuff came with Trevor Horn later but those sort of first five yes albums I mean that's it yeah

well this here's the thing that's your thing my thing is very much the crimson thing

and especially that spate of albums he made around 1980 I really want to talk about

with Tony Levin on bass with Tony Levin and Adrian Ballou yeah that sort of which was his

already his second stint yeah with them but also know, Bill has been on tour with Genesis.

He replaced Phil Collins, really, when Phil Collins stepped up to sing after Peter Gabriel

left and did all that a tour.

He's played with Roy Harper, with Chris Squire, Patrick Maraz, and of course his own band Earthworks.

Earthworks, yeah.

God there's a lot.

He's the, he's the, I would say he's the drumming equivalent of Jeff Beck both in sort of technical mastery and
