introduce you to the strange, the frightening, the unsettling story club world. Our stories come

from Arl Stein's hidden vault, and they've never been heard before. The only people who get to hear them are story club members,

and I've got an interesting one for all you today.

Have you ever seen a mummy?

I'm not talking about like a picture of a mummy.

I mean an actual mummy up close and personal.

Well, I have.

And let me tell ya, it was no picnic.

They're all decomposed and full of bones, and the wrapping doesn't quite cover everything.

What's hidden under the mummy's wrap is never good.

Today, it's your turn to get up close and personal with a different kind of mummy.

Let's just say it's not going to be what you expect.

Then again, it never is, because this is R. L. Stein Story Club,

and the story today is called The Mummy Walks.

Hold on, Maria. I need to move. I'm losing you. I guess Cairo doesn't have great cell service,

huh? We're on the outskirts of the city. I'm surprised I have any service at all.

Anyway, what was I saying? Oh yeah, it's almost time. We're going in. Are you nervous? I'd be nervous.

Not really. I mean, my dad is a world-famous archaeologist. He knows what he's doing.

So cool. My dad is an accountant. Not so cool.

The tomb is underground in everything, and I get to go in there.

I'm going to watch while my dad opens an ancient tomb.
