Hello, and welcome back for a special episode of The Lift.

Today's episode is a little different than the normal episode that we put out in that

Victoria is in it, kind of in passing a few times.

But what you're going to hear is something that we call the writer's journal.

And this was only previously available on Patreon.

We started this with episode one of the Lyft, or more accurately, the very first pilot episode of the lift.

And that episode started kind of with an introduction that was excerpted from what we call the writer's journal.

And the writer is kind of this mysterious entity, human like Victoria who wandered into the

building and has been kind of there for a long time. And one of the things that we talk about

in the show is how different people end up in the building and they're presented with a choice.

Once they make their choice, they usually leave the building and go on to do other things.

And some of them maintain a relationship with the building and with Victoria where they may

come back in the future or she may call on them for assistance in the future.

But there are those who stay behind for a very long period of time because there's a

lesson that they need to learn.

And this would be separate from those who end up in our basement.

Those in the basements probably don't get out.

We look at that kind of analogous to kind of a prison where the very

worst elements have to go. And nobody involved, Victoria herself included, really wants to put

people there. But there are some people that are just beyond help and who are never going to make a choice

for good. There are, of course, those who make the wrong choice. And once they make that
