Summary

As we start Season 2 of the Standard of Truth Podcast we begin with a discussion around the context of Joseph Smith receiving The Book of Moses in June of 1830. Gerrit goes through Moses Chapter 1 and talks about the radical nature of the revelations received. The understanding of both the nature of God and the nature of Mankind are turned on their head in this early revelation. 0:45.7	And in episode one of season two, we wanted to talk a little bit about the Book of Moses.
0:50.0	We weren't exactly sure how to split our seasons.
0:53.7	I was told by someone who was in the know that you should have a whole bunch of really short seasons.
0:59.2	That didn't really make a lot of sense to me.
1:01.4	Well, it works for the voice.

1:03.7	So, you know, what season of Survivor is this?
1:07.8	How long has Survivor been on the air?
1:09.3	Oh, 20 years.
1:10.5	Oh, so they're in the 20th season.
1:11.7	No, it's season 74 or something like that.
1:16.4	Well, part of the reason why we didn't think a whole lot about what season two would look like is we didn't really think there'd be a season one.
