Have you ever visited an aquarium? You know, those places where they have big tanks full of fish?

How about late at night? Ever visit one then?

There's something about the quiet movement of a shark behind glass that feels ghostly to me

Like they could pass right through and open their giant mouth with all those teeth and swallow you right up

Well today devoted listeners, I've got a story for you that takes place at a very large aquarium where Monica and Evan are interns for Monica's dad.

What they find there in the middle of the night is very troubling.

It's Arlstein Story Club, and this is Terror in the Water.

Whoa! It's darker in here than I expected. Who turned out the lights?

Don't tell me you're afraid of the dark, cuz.

Heck no! I mean the dark you get along just fine.

Aquarium world is huge! It's the biggest aquarium on the entire East Coast.

After hours my dad keeps the lights off. It takes a lot of electricity to run this place. No sense keeping the lights on when the customers aren't even here. All the tanks have lights anyway.

Kind of spooky though, don't you think? The way it's all dark in the corridors and light in the tanks, the fish probably think we're ghosts.

Ooh! Okay, you know, being an intern here isn't just goofing around.

We have to do real work, Mr. Ghost.

My dad trusts me with a lot of stuff.

I just got done sweeping the floors in the entire Turtle Bay, and let me tell you, that's a lot of sweeping.
