Teaching yourself and others about accessibility, it really makes a difference. Because it's one of those things that if you try to do afterwards,

it's going to be much harder, it's going to take a lot of time

compared to if you make it part of your process.

Daniel talks about how he got interested in code and what accessibility is after this.

So what got you started in coding?

I don't really know.

I remember, so I studied computer science and back then I was really struggling to find

what I wanted to do, but I had a computer at home and I always liked to know more about how

the software that I was using was built.

So yeah, I decided to do computer science, but

till I started my degree, I had never like programmed before. So I really started programming

at university. Very cool. And why did you start learning programming? What was it about having

that computer that made it interesting for you?

Yeah, I guess it might be a bit of a cliche, but video games, I loved playing video games back then, and that was one of the things that I thought it would be really cool to do, to be a

video game developer. I've done a bit of that, but not much in the end. But still,

I've learned a lot, and I really enjoyed my career as

software engineers so far.
