So rumor has it that you started coding when you were in a band,

which sounds like a very fascinating story.

Tell us that story.

How did you get started while being in a band?

So I, like many of my generation, thought that I was going to find my fame and fortune as an emo band singer.

And so I dropped out of college about halfway through my first year and jumped into an emo band.

And we weren't great.

So we didn't.
