Hi and welcome to Undisclosed.

0:24.0

This week, instead of having an addendum on episode one of our new series on Rocky Myers,

0:28.8

we are actually going to be doing a bonus episode to give an update on two cases that we've covered in earlier seasons,

0:35.3

seasons two and three of Undisclosed.

0:37.0

But before moving on,

0:38.5

Rabia here, and I just want to say hi to my colleagues, Susan and Colin. Hey, guys. Hey, Robia.

1:41.4

So even though he had claims based on Brady violations, the state's

1:44.6

withholding of exculpatory evidence, and based on newly discovered juror misconduct, based on a

1:49.8

juror who independently attempted to conduct a drive test in the cell phone evidence, based definitively

1:56.9

on an incorrect assumption about places and distances traveled. The trial court ruled in favor of the state

2:02.8

found that it was Joey Watkins' obligation to discover new evidence to find the jurors had done misconduct,
