0:45.0	Specifically, we will celebrate his kingship over creation, the majesty of his kingship,

0:56.0	As our time in Second Samuel and the life of David draws to an end,
1:01.0	these Psalms are a great reminder of the overarching themes we've seen throughout First and Second Samuel,
1:09.0	the themes of kingship and covenant.
1:13.0	These Psalms celebrate God and Jesus Christ as the better king and keeper of all promises.
1:21.0	David served well, but a greater, more perfect king was always the plan.
1:27.0	King Jesus, who sits on the Davidic throne forever.
1:32.0	We begin today with Psalm 95.
1:36.0	As we saw yesterday with David's great confidence in the Lord,
1:40.0	the unknown Psalmist continues writing in confidence concerning God's kingship over all of creation.
1:49.0	This historical Psalm celebrates God's greatness over the depths of the earth to the heights of the mountains from the seas to the dry land.
1:59.0	We come to him and bow in worship because we too are his creation.
