Today, we begin the book of Nehemiah.

As I've already mentioned, Ezra and Nehemiah are one book in the Hebrew Bible.

Most scholars attribute the authorship of Nehemiah to Ezra.

Ezra and Nehemiah were contemporaries and worked together to guide God's people as

they resettled in the Promised Land.

Based on the timestamps of Ezra and Nehemiah, the events of Nehemiah happened 13 years
