0:46.8	Now, you might be wondering why Job is placed right here in our journey?
0:52.0	And that is a very good question.
0:54.5	Before we dive into Job chapters 1 through 3, let's talk about why we've placed them
0:59.5	here historically.
1:00.8	First, let me say that scholars do not agree on when the events of Job actually took place.
1:07.1	There are many schools of thought.
1:09.6	The book itself does not tell us who the author was or give us any historical information
1:15.2	to help us attempt to date it.
1:17.9	Some scholars place Job sometime after the Exodus from Egypt, while others place the events
1:23.9	after the EGZILIC period.
1:26.8	The EGZILIC period occurred after the fall of Jerusalem in 586 AD to the Babylonians.
