Now, you might be wondering why Job is placed right here in our journey?

And that is a very good question.

Before we dive into Job chapters 1 through 3, let's talk about why we've placed them

First, let me say that scholars do not agree on when the events of Job actually took place.

There are many schools of thought.

The book itself does not tell us who the author was or give us any historical information

to help us attempt to date it.

Some scholars place Job sometime after the Exodus from Egypt, while others place the events

after the EGZILIC period.

The EGZILIC period occurred after the fall of Jerusalem in 586 AD to the Babylonians.
