Tiffany here and today our journey through Isaiah continues.

The pronouncements of judgment continue, but God graciously provides hope through Isaiah's

words as well.

As we walk through these chapters, we will clearly see that our only refuge is Christ alone.

We begin with chapter 18, which is a beautiful chapter of hope amidst many pronouncements

of judgment.

In this chapter, God has a message for the nation of Kush, which we know today as Ethiopia.

Scripture tells us that these people were beautiful to the Lord and He had a plan for them.

Specifically, when the prophesied demise of Assyria comes, Isaiah states that the people

of Kush will send gifts to the King of Judah.

This will indeed take place during the reign of King Hezekiah.

But though this prophecy has a near fulfillment, it will be fulfilled in the future as well.

In Revelation chapter 7 verse 9, we read, after this I looked and there was a vast multitude

from every nation, tribe, people and language, which no one could number, standing before
