We come to Genesis 28 through 30 and our focus now shifts to the life of Jacob as the

nation God promised to Abraham begins to take shape.

As we study the events surrounding Jacob's life, we will continue to see him struggle

with his trust in God and God's promises.

Sadly, his default is to bargain, lie and manipulate.
