0:49.4	From the line of Shem comes Abram, and it is his life we begin studying in Genesis 12

0:57.8	As we return from our time in the book of Job, we want to remember that the events of Job
1:03.3	possibly occurred during the era of the Patriarchs, which include the lifespans of Abraham,
1:10.0	Isaac and Jacob.
1:12.1	As we think about this Patriarch period, we also want to remember that the events of the
1:17.5	Bible did not happen in a vacuum.
1:20.9	All of the secular history we read about in our school history classes occurred simultaneously
1:27.1	with these events recorded in Scripture.
1:30.0	For example, in history, the time of the Patriarchs is known by the secular world as the Bronze
1:36.4	Age.
