From the Jill Schwartz Memorial Library here in the wilds of Connecticut, this is obscure

season two, Frankenstein, I am your host, your friend, your ear lover, your literary

mansplain or in chief and geogenologist, Michael Ian Black excited to continue our journey

together, but I must admit to you, this past week has been an embarrassment, an utter

embarrassment for me because I would say 80 to 85% of my waking hours were devoted to

completing a jigsaw puzzle, a jigsaw puzzle, a thousand piece, a depiction of a bucolic

battalion seaside town, very colorful, gorgeous colors, every hue in the rainbow, the hardest

jigsaw puzzle I have ever done, because the pieces are small and there was so much activity

in that puzzle, that it was hard to know what was hook and what was crook, just very hard

to discern, so it was hours, hours devoted to this singular and singularly pointless activity,

hours of frustration, hours hunched over the kitchen island, trying to find pieces that

went together and I made it doubly hard for myself because I wouldn't look at the image

on the puzzle cover, I had looked at it when I bought it and then after that I was like

I'm just going to do this on on my own, I had a vague idea of what it was going to look

like and I was determined to do it on my own, pretending he's beside me all alone.

He walked to something, without him I feel his arms around me and then I something dimmer

in the colony sakin' on on my own, anyway I really just needed to get through that

just so I could sing the phrase on my own, but that's what I spent my entire fucking

week doing, I mean okay at the beginning of the pandemic you'd be like yeah you're stressed,

you're like freaking out, like a jigsaw puzzle that's probably a good thing for you, but

the fact of the matter is I'm not stressed out and I'm not freaked out, I'm just unemployed,

that's all I am, but here's the thing, if it wasn't the jigsaw puzzle okay and I wasn't
