This is episode 7 of the second series and my guest is a wonderful young

lady called Kitty Valour.

So the first thing I wanted to ask about is just you really, you yourself and your path into your job.

Were you always interested in the performing arts?

Was that your background?

It's funny because not really when I was at school I was really, really shy and anything kind of performing wise just be my worst nightmare.

So it's kind of a bit of a surprise to me as well as probably to everyone else that knew me that I turned out to be a poll dancer as a professional job.

But yeah, I kind of got into dancing when I was around 16, so I was still quite young when I was around 16.

So I was still quite young when I started Pole.

And I just tried everything.

I tried ballet, modern tap, and I just found Pole

the most fun, I guess because it was a little bit a little bit

to be and it was something I did like by myself outside of like school and stuff so yeah I just kind of started it then it wasn't like

very sexy then it was more just kind of like poses and spins so were these

were these classes that you went to? Yeah I went to weekly classes but I lived in like a

tiny village in Devon so I had to travel to the nearest city which was like almost

an hour away on the bus to to go to these

classes yeah and and who were the other people in the classes were they other kind of

teenage girls? Not really there was was, it was mainly just, it was like a wide range of mainly

women of all different ages really, so there'll be some who were like in their 20s and some
