Hi, my name is Meredith Kennedy,

0:31.1

and I'm the director of the Innocence Network Support Unit.

0:34.8

We're a department at the Innocence Project in New York. And among a variety of

0:41.3

things that my team and I do to support the Innocence Network, principally we organize this conference.

0:48.3

So this is the fourth year that my team and I have planned and executed this conference. And it is by far the

1:00.5

individuals and then an additional 80 or 90 are family members of those exoneries.

podcast. Yesterday, Friday, March 24th, was the first day of the Innocence Network Conference

2:14.1

taking place in San Diego, California. Right now, I'm recording this a little after midnight in my hotel room, and my heart is still

2:23.2

overflowing with emotions from all the experiences that I had today.

2:27.3

This episode is going to feature messages from over 10 exoneries, on top of messages from their

2:32.8

support people, attorneys, and other people

2:36.0

who came to support those who have been wrongfully convicted at this conference.
