Summary

Have you wanted to get involved in witchcraft, but are you in a situation where being "out of the broom closet" may not be the most viable option? This episode is for all witches who feel that it is in their best interest to hide their practice from others, for one reason or another. The episode covers various ways that you can attempt to hide your practice and blend in your tools and magic, as well as a discussion on sigils and how to create them. It is advised to be safe while practicing and to not get yourself involved in a situation where practicing witchcraft can cause danger to yourself if others find out. Always be safe! Remember--hiding your practice, or not letting others know about your practice does not make you any less of a witch! Yes, it's finally happening today. It's been a very long time coming. And as you're probably guessing, yes, this is a, I guess you can call a special quarantine

0:23.2

episode. Yeah, I have been just pounding out these episodes recently, partially because, like,

0:29.9

I haven't been the best with keeping on track with old episodes. And also, yeah, we're all kind of

0:37.2

under quarantine. I haven't left my house in

0:39.4

quite a number of days. Let's see, Friday. I haven't left my house since Friday. And today

0:44.0

is Wednesday. So it's been, it's been a while. All right. So yeah, as I mentioned, today is

0:51.2

going to be about undercover witchcraft. So what do I mean by undercover witchcraft?

0:55.1

This episode is aimed for the people who are still in the broom closet, the people who want to

practice witchcraft, who are practicing witchcraft, who might be scared that they might not

1:06.8

be able to actually do it because maybe they live with people or they work with people

1:11.5

or they're surrounded with people who would be judgmental or it would just be a bad situation.

1:16.2

So this episode is for you. Hey. And yeah. So we're going to cover sigils. I'm going to start with

1:23.0

that first because sigils are something I'll talk about a little bit later in the episode. So I would

1:29.6

definitely, definitely recommend grabbing a piece of paper while I go through the sigil episode or the

1:35.1

sigil part of this episode, I should say, because sigils are very easy to explain physically in

1:41.4

front of somebody, but it's very complicated to explain through a podcast. So I'm

1:48.0

going to try my best. So yeah, I'm going to go ahead and play my little ad. So while I'm doing that,

1:53.4

definitely grab some paper and I'll meet up with you all in just a moment. All right. So here we go.

1:59.9

Cigils. So what is a sigil? A sigil, there's a lot of different,

2:05.6

ah, Jesus, different definitions for sigils. For basic purposes, you can say it's a charge symbol,

2:14.9

or it's a picture or a symbol or something that has an intent. It has like a magical

2:20.9

working or focus behind it. It's supposed to aid you do something. So you may have seen sigils before
