Hello and welcome to Series 2 episode 6 of Out with Susie Ruffle. Now before I begin I've got to tell you about what's happened this morning.

So this weekend my friend is putting up some shelves and decorating our spare room. So I thought I'm not

going to have time to do the top and tell in the first part of the week and I have to do it

at the weekend. Dan's coming to put up some bits and to drill into the wall.

I'm not going to be able to use my

little red cupboard office thing to do the top of the show. I thought I've got a brilliant idea.

I'll use the downstairs car park at the bottom of my flat.

It'll be really quiet down there.

I'll go down early on a Saturday morning.

Surely no one's leaving then.

Okay, so then I'm downstairs in the car park, in my car and it turns out that is when

everybody wants to leave their house. So there are people constantly walking

past me and they don't know that I'm

podcasting. So basically I'm just a woman in a car with a microphone by herself

talking. I look like I've maybe lost my mind. So people keep walking past me and sort of giving me a,

huh, weird smile.

And I get to the point where I've done so many takes of this intro

that I don't know what to do,

that I don't know whether I'm making sense anymore so I think right

I'm going to have to leave because then some more neighbors came downstairs and they seem to be

partaking in some sort of shouting competition that I hadn't been made aware of. So I'm now out on the street. I mean I'm not sort of outside. I'm in the car in this nice little cul-de-sac around the corner from my house. But what is happening now? One or two of the

neighbors have looked out to see what I'm doing. They're very confused. A car's
