What's up everybody? Welcome back. It is Skews Day, May 17th, 2022. I'm trying that's Mark. We're going to do things a little differently on this episode. We got some dumbasses for you. And we're going to talk about some primaries and stuff a little later.

But like a couple of weeks ago with the big Supreme Court leak, had a subject tonight that felt like it shouldn't be prefaced with announcements and dumbassery and whatnot.

It's the type of thing you should just get right into talking, of course, about the horrific shooting in Buffalo and the implications thereof, particularly where things like white

supremacy and white replacement theory are concerned. So, Mark, where are you at with all that?

Well, it's bad. I mean, it was a bad couple days. There were like four mass shootings over the

weekend. It says the 10 people killed in buffalo i think it's still 10

uh 21 people were shot in milwaukee five in houston five in orange county the one in orange

county was also a hate crime but it was an inter-asian chinese on taiwanese thing um the one of

milwaukee was three separate shootings it It was outside the Bucks game.

And one of the three shootings was a full-on shootout between two people.

It's just like, this is all very, very bad and gross.

Yeah, you can't even keep up with it.

It's like, you know, someone says, you know, what about that mass shooting the other day?

You know, at the point where you got to be like, well, which one are you talking about?

Which is so incredibly fucked up, but that's been the case for a while now.

It's also like, it's one of those things that's ever present, but also it's not, statistically it's not a huge problem.

Like our individual chances of dying in a mass shooting group very small.

The biggest problem with guns is suicides.

Why this is a very American phenomenon, although there were the big mass shootings in New Zealand,

and there was the one in, I think, Norway a couple years ago. But those are like one-offs. This is like a meme here.

They did for lack of a better way to describe it. And I know the social science resources have said that like shootings do spread like epidemics because people do copycat stuff. And Columbine, of course, expanded psycho's imagination by what was possible by one determined weirdo.

You know, that was two determined weirdos.
