Hello everybody and a very warm welcome to the Good, the Bad and the Rugby and Parnaship

Six shows in eight days were currently in Manchester, ready to go on stage with Mark Quato.

And off the back of last week's pod, where we brought you an inspirational chat with

the former England hooker Dylan Harley.

This week we're checking in again with another former England number two, Steve Thompson.

And I'm sure by now you know that Steve is battling as bravely off the field with

his early onset dementia as he did on the pitch as an England World Cup winner.

It's important to stress before we bring you the interview that we did in Liverpool

that some of the content is extremely sensitive and so we do want to just issue a quick trigger

warning that we do go into some deep mental health issues and also the topic of suicide.

But it was a truly remarkable evening, hugely inspirational in the way that he's dealing

with his current challenges and also incredibly entertaining with a man who has been there

and almost done it all.
