Summary

As Reno Detectives hunt for Alvaro and Duc, they need cash and guns fast. What follows is a plot taken from a scene of their favorite movie “The Terminator” and a local hero is revealed. And afterwards a high-speed chase where the killers mimic violent acts from yet another scene in the movie.

January 3rd, 1994, the Reno-Nevada Police Department was investigating one of the most gruesome crime scenes they've ever encountered.

U-Haul employees, 38-year-old Peggy Crawford, and 21-year-old Keith Christopher,

were brutally murdered on a Sunday after closing hours. The killers took the lives of two

innocent people for $2,435. The clock was ticking to bring the miscreants into custody,

but apprehending them would be no easy task, and the trail of destruction would cross state lines. In 1994, David Stanton was the chief deputy district attorney for the state of Nevada.

He would be in charge of prosecuting the persons responsible for the murders at the U-Haul rental facility.

And it was a weight that he carried heavily on his shoulders.

I think I was hired in 89.

I was thrust very early on into the murder world

and then, you know, being involved as the head of the major violators unit,
