Hi everyone, welcome back to the Blood Tides podcast I'm Molly Wansall and I'm here with my father, Jeffrey Wansall.

Hello everyone, welcome back and as I always say, thank you so much for listening to the podcast, which gives us great pleasure to do.

And it's wonderful that you're out there listening to it. Yeah, thanks. How are you, Dad? Up and down, it would be the honest

answer. It's a slightly trying week. Tough week. Yeah, it's a struggle, a real struggle. I'm trying to

get something right and it's not quite right and the harder I try, the less it seems to get

right. So it's one of those writer's weeks,

you know, when you're grappling with fog a lot of the time. Yeah, it's not, it's not easy.

It's not an easy profession. No. And I've been doing it making a living by putting words on paper

or nowadays, of course, on screens for 51 years.

And there comes a point when you begin to tire,

your energy levels start to drop.

And I love what I do.

I always have loved it.

But sometimes it can drive you to distraction,

just the sheer weight of it.

And everybody's always got an opinion.

Oh, if only you could do this, this is what I want.

Well, actually, if that's what you want, why don't you write it?

You know, it's a kind of classic.
