Welcome back to an all new episode of the Jason Lee podcast.

Yes, all this applause is for me today because of my efforts and my partnership with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the governor of California, Gavin Newsom. Yes, there's lots of reasons to be applauding today,

and I am, y'all know I was coming here to talk about this. Let me just tell you right now,

for those of you who do not believe in God, click off of this podcast and never come back.

If you are listening to it, watching it, if it's somehow

being sent to you, if you do not believe God is real, do not watch me or my show. Because I am

the Living Testament that God is real. Listen, I'm not one to toot my own horn or to, you know,

do all of that. I mean, yes, I definitely make sure you know what I'm doing out here in these streets.

And you've watched me build everything from scratch.

But those of you that have been watching me and the work I've been doing in Stockton for years.

And I mean, all the way back in 2012 when I tried to help the kids of Stockton with the I Am Ready program, this vision that I have

14 years ago, denied. Fast forward, you remember I went to Stockton after I had become

Jason Lee and said, hey, to the council, you know, I thought I had a deal. You put in a million

dollars, I'll put in a million dollars. We'll help these kids, let's get them off the streets. Let's unlock their dreams. Let's help save the, the, the, the, the, the Jasons that are still in Stockton wanting to be better. And I was shot down. I was told no. And then I ran for office and got behind people and got us all elected and then they voted it down.

But y'all ain't more powerful than God.

And let me tell you how God uses me.

He uses me to show people that if you dream it, you can do it. If you get

denied, you can keep going and get it. And that if you have faith and you believe in a power

higher than you, it will all happen according to his will. The craziest part is the fight for it

all made it end up in my district in a, in land that I own, this youth center that I want to build.

And now it's going to also provide therapeutic and, uh, uh, respite services for kids.
