Welcome back to our new episode of the Jason Lee podcast.

Listen, this is the best show if you're at work and you hate your job or you hate your

coworkers or you hate your boss or you just hate life and you want to escape for a good

hour, hour and a half to jush up your life with a little bit of mess,

unless you're trying to kill me.

This is the show that you should watch.

I was actually working today before I got here.

And as I was preparing for this, I was watching this last episode.

And I was cackling at how ridiculous we are I think you have to understand

something you know there's podcasters like Joe budding that all they do in life is podcast

and walk around naked in their neighborhood that's not what this podcast is for I created this

podcast as a vehicle to get the thoughts that I have about politics and pop culture out of my mind

and I do it from their Facebook where I make lots of money because I share it over there. I don't really, I don't focus on millions and millions of views on the podcast, although I think I'm going to start bringing in more people for the deep dive because I think more people like to see some guests. And there's some guests, quite frankly, they're just not ready for the Jason Lee show yet.

And then we don't have a whole hour to talk about that we can bring here, right?

Yeah.

And it was fun when you brought your friend from the housewives of doing about Chanel. She was so funny. She was fine. Just having that kind of energy brought to the podcast, I think would be great, too. I know all of you are out there asking, where is the Jason Lee show?

Like, where is it?

What happened?

Well, I will tell you the delay has been the negotiation process. I have built a show that I believe is valuable to the culture and valuable to me and valuable to whoever I partner with. And I have been approached by multiple networks to look at where we can send the show, where we can air next season, and we've been going back and forth. And today, I am happy to say, still can't tell you where it's gonna go, but today I will know because today, after I'm done filming the show, I will make a decision on what network it will be at and then I will let all of you know know. But I just want to thank our audience who I really, I really have to take my hat off to everybody. Those of you that know why I ran for office and all of what I put into it, and I put a thousand percent in everything I do. My team helps me put a thousand percent into everything I do. I really needed to spend my freshman year as an elected official, really getting my footing and getting things in order in Stockton.

And I've been able to do that and balancing my work here in L.A. and around the world and

my career as an elected official in my city and really giving my heart to it all.
