All right, welcome back to an all new episode of the Jason Lee podcast.

It's the first of the new year, 2006.

We all made it.

We all made it.

First of all, we barely made it.

They said 2025 was the year of the snake where we shed everything. Well, I didn't shed my co-host, Rob and Marina, they're off. Rob had to take a trip

back to Chicago, and Marina is in Chicago. But either way, I didn't shed them, but I did shed a lot

of other dead weight. And you know what?

This is the year where we have to give ourselves permission to do that.

And look, I know those of you watch and those of you listen are like, well, how's he going to do the show by himself?

Did you forget the gagging with Jason Lee era?

Gagging.

Well, we're not going to go that hard today, but I am here by myself and that's okay because I'm here with you.

So first of all, thank you for showing up on the first podcast of the new year, the Jason

Lee podcast.

And there's a lot to talk about.

There's so much that's been happening.

I feel like 2025.

This was 2025 on the way out.

It was nonstop stuff. And I feel like God did not let us get out without a lot going on.
