1:05.0	answers. So can we start in Los Angeles and where we have National Guard, about 4,000 National Guard troops deployed,
1:15.2	California National Guard deployed over the objections of the state's governor, Gavin Newsom,
1:21.5	in ways which appear to maybe not have been strictly legal. The governor filed suit in the district
1:32.8	court out there. Yesterday, Thursday, Thursday, he got a favorable decision, and then it was
1:39.8	immediately appealed to the Ninth Circuit where the district court's decision was stayed.
1:46.4	And it appears to me that the Ninth Circuit wants to hear this like next Tuesday, maybe.
1:54.2	That's right.
1:54.7	And then I assume we'll go straight to the Supreme Court after that.
1:57.3	Part of me wonders why we even bother with the Ninth Circuit.
1:59.9	I mean, why not just go all the way up?
2:02.4	I get, can you explain to me the Newsom case and what what the governor of California is arguing and what the government's position and response is?
2:14.1	Okay. So in order to understand that, you have to understand a little bit about how the National, what the National Guard is and what the President's authority over it is.
2:28.1	And in a nutshell, I think many people out there, you know, have relatives in the military or in the reserves or in the National Guard,
