0:14.4	University of Munster, Munster, and Tubergen University. Dan is one of the top experts in
0:25.5	New Testament Greek in the evangelical church. Hands down. If you study Greek and you go more than a
0:32.3	year into Greek, you typically will enter into second year Greek where you will wait through
0:38.5	this book. If you're on the video, you can see it Greek grammar beyond the basics, which is a 7800
0:44.2	page detail grammar on New Testament Greek. So this dude knows a thing or two about the Greek
0:51.6	language, which is why I wanted to have him come on the show and talk about the manuscript evidence
0:56.8	we have for the New Testament. Are there tons of mistakes in these manuscripts? Tons of disagreements?
1:02.2	Can we trust him? Can we even know what the original text of the New Testament would have said?

1:28.1	When did you start falling in love with the Greek or if that's even the right phrase? I mean,
1:32.0	when did you get excited about the Greek language? Is that early on in your childhood or more
1:36.3	later on or? It happened when I was 16 years old. I made a pretty radical commitment to the Lord
1:45.0	and basically said, I'm committing the rest of my life to do full-time Christian vocational
1:51.4	ministry. And I prepared for nothing else. My dad, his dad, long history on both sides of the
1:59.6	family of engineers, my grandfather invented the skateboard and the drafting board and all sorts
2:06.4	other things. You invented the skateboard? Yeah. Yeah. You knew how to make a lot of money and lose
2:11.7	a lot of money. But he had a thousand employees during World War II helping out the Navy and the
2:17.6	Air Force or the Army Air Force, I should say. So I come from that kind of a background, but I didn't
