The bond between a mother and child is unlike anything in this world.

For most mothers, as soon as they lay eyes on their baby, they experience a love that is indescribable

and there's an overwhelming urge to do everything in their power to keep that baby safe.

Protecting your child from danger is a biological characteristic that humans have experienced since the beginning of time.

And there's a lot of danger out there.

There's rapist, murderers, pedophiles, mass shooters.

The list goes on and on.

And as a parent, you not only want to protect your child from these people,

but you also want to raise them so that they don't end up becoming one of those people.

However, no matter how hard you try at the end of the day, your kid is their own person.

And you just have to hope that you raise them well enough to make good choices and to be a good human.

But as we've seen, there are a lot of bad apples in the world.

People who had a good upbringing and still turn out to be horrible people.

And some of these bad apples will turn on the person who loves them the most.

Their mother.
