Hello, it's Sarah Pasco here. Welcome to a second series of Sex Power Money. I so enjoyed the response to the first series. I really loved how all of you engaged with the guests and the topics and just like me

finding out about people's lives.

0:17.4

And I also wanted to start this series with an apology, because in the last episode of the first series I said something very flippantly

0:27.6

which upset some people and it was actually very interesting for me. It gave me a lot of time for reflection because having done a series about, well I guess like exploring people's lives, hearing from people that perhaps we don't hear from every day because they work in the

sex industry or stripping or activists for sex workers, I then slipped up right at the end

1:26.3

worthy as other people.

1:27.6

So I do want to fully apologize for what I said and I also want to say for those of you that

1:32.0

contacted me and I did try to write back to all of the messages or the comments that I saw,

1:37.5

you were absolutely right to pull me up on it. I'm a childless woman and sometimes I get hard and defensive and that often causes not only our

ignorance about other people's decisions but it causes us not to empathise properly if we kind of shut off that some people are other than us or different in some way.

1:57.0

So I'm truly sorry for those of you are hurt and I am trying to learn just like everybody else.

2:02.0

So thank you for coming back to the second

series. We have got some incredible guests lined up. Much more men than last series and lots of

different approaches to sex work and stripping and historical

sex research and I think you're a man called Jason Domino. He is a sexual health activist as well as being a sex worker that meets clients and he performs in the porn industry
