Another aspect to this story is that Brooke shares a child with her stalker. We hear this so

often that children are often weaponized in court battles when two parents are battling it out for

custody. Based on the cases we've covered, what we heard is that stalkers use their child,

their shared custody with their victim in order to keep contact with their ex and continue to

harass and stalk them. Brooke was in a domestic abuse situation so long that until she actually

physically got herself out of that and started to heal, she didn't recognize the signs that she

was actually being stalked in the relationship. It happened one day I was at a friend's house and

he had the kids that night. I had allowed him to watch all of the kids and I'd face time to kids

and talk to them and as soon as you know we got started to get off the phone and he asked me to talk
