This is the podcast where we talk about elements of the scriptures that have become real to us

because we believe that helps us supply them to our lives better and we need all the help we can get.

I'm your host, Kerry Mulestein, and I'm so excited for my co-host

with me, Dr. Jennifer Lane, who you've heard before. But before we get into introducing

Jennifer, who I love doing these things with, I should say that Jennifer and I both, I think,

actually are very happy to just talk with each other and learn from each other. But what we really want is

for as many people as possible to be blessed by what we're doing here. And so we're going to ask

you our audience to help us with that. There are different things you can do depending upon what

platform you're on. If you're on YouTube, leaving comments and likes and subscribing is good.

For all of the platforms, subscribing or following likes and subscribing is good for all of the

platforms subscribing or following or whatever it is for that. For example, Apple Podcasts, if you

download the episodes, which is probably your default, but you can check and see, make sure you're

downloading them. You can rate and leave a review. So each of these platforms, there are little

ways that you can do something, and that helps more people see it.

So we want to bless as many lives as possible, so we'll ask you to consider doing that.

Now, to be able to talk about Dr. Lane, who we've been blessed to have on before, and she always does such a wonderful job, and she'll be on with us again.

But Dr. Lane, who I taught with at BYU,

Hawaii and was in administration of BYU,

Hawaii besides teaching in the religion department there, has her degree from Claremont.

So if I remember right, I know we did like Uyric and Hebrew together, but I think you're also doing Greek as an undergrad.

Yeah. And then I went on to, my focus for my PhD was history of Christianity, where I actually looked further down the tradition, how Bible was understood and followed more in beyond late antiquity into the Middle Ages and the Reformation.
