Summary

Listener discretion is advised.** At the end of her senior year of high school, Robin was swept off her feet by her cousin's best friend. He began love bombing her with candy, flowers, and gifts...and shortly thereafter, he proposed. Six months into their marriage he began pressuring her to bring home another girl, telling her not to come home if she didn't. He became abusive, calling her names, throwing and breaking things, shoving her out of bed, slamming her into things, and sexually assaulting her. She was able to escape...but through his law enforcement connections, he tracked her whereabouts. As a result of this terrifying ordeal, Robin lost her job, friends, and almost her life.
