time so you know, neutral observer. And this is not neutral. Yeah, those who have paid attention

to this podcast might have picked up on an interesting little subcurrent to this recording,

and this final that makes it extra interesting. Don't know what you're talking about.

All right, let's talk about the Champions League final. Now, I threatened you with a history of

what got Chelsea to this point, and I'm a Batman fan, and I'm good on seeing Batman origin stories.

I kind of know the deal. Same with Spider-Man. I appreciate it. I don't like that we continually

change rights fees holders. That way, I got to see Uncle Ben die over and over again. I'm good on

the Uncle Ben die, and so I think you know how Chelsea got here. How'd they get here? They won

their Champions League games. That's how they got here. They advanced beyond Real Madrid in the semi-final,

which was a massive achievement for this club. If you really pulled me before the season and any

emotional Chelsea fan, getting out of the round of 16 might have been the height of a lot of people's

expectations. Chelsea find themselves here as a fourth place finisher in the Premier League.
