0:06.8

When I became a new runner at the age of 29, I had so many questions, but it felt like I was on my own to figure all of the answers.

0:15.1

So now I'm here to answer all your running questions to help make you a better, smarter, faster runner. There's no question

0:22.9

too simple and no topic too complex. So let's get started. Hello, all my friends out there.

0:31.0

Welcome to the final episode of 2022. This year just honestly felt like it flew by every month just like it was faster and faster than

0:40.7

the last one. I kind of honestly feel like it was just barely September and now it's practically

0:45.4

the following year. So whatever your holiday plans are were, have been. I hope that you are

0:51.3

staying safe and spending time with family. I am this, okay, so this

0:57.1

episode was originally, I had this idea of doing kind of like a top things that I learned this year,

1:03.6

like the coolest things that I learned this year. More like facts. Like kind of, yeah,

1:08.3

I learned this and I learned that. How cool is that? The problem is that the way that my brain works is that I don't remember when I learned something. I just know that I now know it. So I don't know if necessarily something that I learned I learned in September or maybe I kind of always knew it. It's like new information

1:30.1

just kind of slots into my brain like it was always there, which is a very cool thing as a coach

1:36.7

and as an educator or somebody's interested in learning and, you know, that's very cool. But it's

1:43.0

very frustrating to kind of parse out and say,

1:44.9

yeah, but when, when did I learn this and who did I learn it from? And if I learned the basics

1:49.8

of it here, when did I learn more about it there? And so this episode is really going to be more

1:54.6

of a things that I learned this year, more reflections and things that I want to share with

2:00.8

you as a coach

2:02.5

and as a runner because yeah, I'm a runner too. Don't forget. And this has been an interesting

2:08.6

year for me personally as a runner. I want to talk to you about it by. Before we get started,

2:12.8

a couple quick wrap-ups. Obviously, end of season two, end of 2022. Season three starts next week.

2:20.7

One of the big announcements for 2023 with the podcast is that episodes are now going to be
