The new atheists failed to answer people's ultimate questions.

They held out science and reason as the ultimate way in which we should understand everything.

But actually, science and reason are good for some things, but they won't tell you why you're here.

They won't tell you your value.

They won't lead to a meaningful, flourishing life.

Suppose it were true that atheism doesn't offer anything.

So what?

Our kind of post-Christian ideology, humanist ideology, secular, liberal, whatever you want to call it,

is actually rather anemic.

Something has changed in the tide of faith that just maybe God might be surprising us.

Faith in a higher power, in God and in the sur story that makes sense of it all, gives it meaning.

These are the ways in which we discover true. It is through narratives, through myths.

There is nothing more powerful than the Christian myth.

I believe we're at a turning of the tide moment. Yes, it's gone a long way out.

And things may get worse before they get better,
