Tiffany here, and today we head back to the Book of Acts to continue Paul's third missionary journey.

In Acts, chapters 20 through 22, Paul makes his way to Jerusalem with

several stops along the way. At each stop, Paul encourages the believers there and asks them to pray for

him. He knows that affliction awaits him, and their prayers encourage him in the days ahead.

Over the next three days, we will see Paul's resolve to share the gospel, no matter what he faces.

As we chat about Paul's journey today, let me encourage you once again to take a look at a map for reference.

Also, be sure to notice the use of the word we. Remember, the author of Acts is Luke, and during this journey to Jerusalem,

Luke is an eyewitness as he travels with Paul, Timothy, and others. After staying in Corinth for three months,

where he wrote his letter to the Roman Church, Paul travels up the Greek coast to Macedonia,

and then travels across the sea to Troas, a port city on the coast of Asia Minor, and north of

Ephesus.

While in Troas, Paul spoke with the believers late into his last night among them.

A young man named Eudacus fell asleep and fell out a window to his death.

But the Lord used Paul to return Eudacus to life. Paul left Troas and traveled through

numerous cities as he journeyed down the coast of Asia Minor, past Ephesus, and docked in Miletus.

Paul knew he couldn't make a brief stop in Ephesus. He had lived among the Ephesians for several
