Today on the Strong Women Podcast, we have a pleasure of sitting down with Stephanie

0:22.8

Gray-Connor's. Now, Aaron and I and Stephanie are at the Wilberforce weekend, and so that is how

0:28.3

we are actually sitting in the same room and so we're so excited that we get to be face-to-face.

0:33.3

But I want to introduce Stephanie quickly. Stephanie has been speaking about the pro-life issue since

0:38.9

she was 18, which means it's been a few years, but I won't say how many. And she started off

0:44.8

just speaking about like the pro-life, what you're thinking pro-life with babies, saving babies

0:49.1

kind of thing. But she also has included euthanasia and all the other life issues that are coming to the surface because of that, really.

0:57.9

You know, if you don't value life in the womb, then it trickles down to other areas.

1:02.7

So she's written three books.

1:05.0

The first one is conceived by science, thinking carefully and compassionately about infertility and IVF. And then start with what?

1:15.4

Ten principles for thinking about assisted suicide. And then also, love unleashes life, which is actually

1:22.3

the name of your organization. So we're going to hear more about that title in a bit. And the subtitle for

1:27.0

that is abortion and the art of communicating truth. So, Stephanie, we're so glad that you're spending this time with us. Thanks for coming. Thank you. I'm delighted to be here. Okay, so we always like to start where people begin. So we know you started in Canada. But tell us about where you grew up, the home you grew up in. Was it a Christian home? those sorts of things. Sure, yes. Well, I like to say I now have an American husband and an American baby and I'm super excited to become an American. Yes. However, yes, I was born and raised in Canada and the West Coast of Canada. I like to say the West Coast is the best coast. I was born right in Vancouver and then my

2:01.1

parents moved to what was considered the Bible Belt, which was about an hour and a half east of

2:05.2

the city into a smaller town called Chiluac. And it was 1980 when I was born. And my parents got

2:12.7

involved in the pro-life movement out in that small town. And so Christians of various denominations were getting involved, and it was just abundantly

2:22.2

clear that the abortion issue was something my parents were going to be super passionate

2:26.2

about and how they were going to live out in the gospel very specifically in our family life.

2:30.4

And so I grew up in the pro-life movement, in the church, and I saw my parents caring for
