0:23.0	Bale reminded me of a very memorable football game. Back in 2018, Texas A&M, my alma mater, beat
0:31.6	LSU 74 to 72 at Kyle Field and College Station for their first win over the Tigers since 1995.
0:41.4	This set an NCAA FBS record for the most points scored in a single game and tied an NCAA
0:48.4	record for playing in seven overtime periods. It was such an iconic game. Tensions were high. People were on the
0:56.5	edges of their seats as they watched the score go back and forth and back and forth wondering who
1:02.1	would win the game. And in today's Bible reading, we read a story many Christians have heard
1:08.1	before, that great battle between Elijah and the 450 prophets of
1:11.8	bail. Who will win? You could feel the tension in the air. As we read this story, it's as if it was a
1:18.1	movie, the music's building. Is the winner of this battle going to be the prophets of bail or
1:23.9	Elijah and his God? I can see it playing out. What a story. And as Christians who are familiar
1:30.9	with it, it isn't just one to simply pass over and skim because we're familiar with it. So often we
1:36.9	can get caught doing that with familiar stories. Rather, I want to challenge us to notice some of
1:42.3	the eccentric and quotable statements from the passage.
1:45.2	Let's look at a few together.
1:47.2	First up, we have Ahab saying to Elijah in verse 17, is it you, you troubler of Israel?
1:53.0	Ahab essentially is boldly calling Elijah the nation's troublemaker.
1:58.4	And here's the catch.
1:59.6	Ahab's comment was a jab at Elijah, but an accusation
