0:28.0	Tiffany here and today we continue our walk through Second Kings.
0:32.0	Yesterday, Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind.
0:35.0	Elijah took up the ministry and we learned about numerous miracles God did through Elijah.
0:42.0	Those miracles continue today.
0:44.0	Elijah's bold faith will remind the people of his day and believers today of the importance of faith,
0:52.0	especially in the unseen.
0:54.0	So buckle up friends.
0:56.0	Like yesterday, we have four chapters to cover.
0:59.0	So let's dive in to Second Kings, chapters five through eight.
1:03.0	As we begin, I want to read Hebrews 111 for us.
1:08.0	You've likely read this verse before as it so beautifully defines faith for us.
1:13.0	It says,
1:14.0	Now faith is the reality of what is hoped for, the proof of what is not seen.
1:20.0	The author of Hebrews begins chapter 11 with this definition,
1:24.0	and then proceeds for the next 39 verses to explain how all the patriarchs,
1:29.0	judges, prophets, and the faithful men and women of the Old Testament trusted in God's promises.
1:36.0	Both the scene and the unseen, the fulfilled and yet anticipated.
